We went bike riding yesterday along the Yarra trail, covering only slightly more than 3 km of it (6km there and back). The entire trail is 33 km. Along the way, there are really cool rock wall installations for avid rock climbers. Thad tried to climb and isn't bad! Suprising for such a sisy neneh, who can't catch a ball, kick a ball properly or hang from monkey bars for more than 3 seconds before frantically yelling for help. Thad told me the other day that he wishes he could swing from the monkey bars, cause the kids in the other rooms, who are younger and smaller than him, can swing.

Don almost died yesterday cause he rode with Thad in the back child seat, which is really meant for 1-3 year olds. Not only did he have an extra heavy load to pedal, he also didn't know how to work the gears, meaning that his very unused muscles were shocked into extra hard work and are still burning like the fires of Mordor. We're looking to buy a tandem bike add-on for Thad.

A few days ago, we chanced upon Thad's old friend's birthday party. We've lost contact but nonetheless, I felt strangely left out that we weren't invited.

Our neighbour and friend from kinder has a new addition to the family. Mom gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday. Congratulations on the sleep eater!!!

Thad and I are going for the annual Earthdance Peace Festival at Collingwood children's farm in a while, after lunch.
