The King is dead! Long live the King!
We went to Werribee Open zoo today, partly to gloat about having been to Africa and having seen the Big 5, plus cheetas, plus lions mating, plus MASAI giraffes, plus lions on a tree, plus leopards eating kill, plus wildebeests birthing and migrating... and partly for Thad's love of animals.
While nonplussed about the wonder of ROTHSCHILD girraffes and kudus, he got excited by the line of ants, bull(dozer), sprinkler system that resembled a camel spitting and rhino mummy pooing.
Don and Thad decided to mimick a camel by everting their lower lip. He saw a lady behind and pointed to her, remarking how she was joining in the fun... only she wasn't... her lower lip naturally hung out...
Thad is a know it all, you know. Wonder where he gets it from... He proudly informed everyone that meerkats eat mice, you know. Thanks Thad.
We're going to the Airforce museum and Science museum tomorrow.
Oh, did I mention I saw lions mating?
